A Jew, a Muslim and a Christian – sounds like the beginning of a familiar joke, but in fact it is what makes up a team of presenters who visit schools and run workshops on prejudice and humanity.
As Australia’s demography changes with the global demands of our modern world, so do the challenges that come with living in diversity. Together for Humanity Foundation is one of the premier diversity education organisations that educates students, teachers and the community about how to deal with difference.
For over a decade, the foundation has been running its programs all over Australia. More than 75,000 school students have participated in the different anti-prejudice programs offered by Together for Humanity. The programs are led by a team of presenters – Jewish, Muslim, Christian and often Indigenous who serve as a model for their message – “we may have different backgrounds and religions, but we are bound by our humanity.”
